The HSA is proud to organise regular community events throughout the academic year.
Did you know that?
The HSA paid for Forest School training for staff and Forest School equipment. As a result, children in Nursery and Reception and Years 1, 3 & 5 participate in regular Forest School classes, complementing the children’s holistic learning and allowing for unique outdoor experiences in a safe and nurturing environment.
The HSA contributed to the building costs of the School’s swimming pool refurbishment, enabling all children at Campsbourne to take swimming classes during the school day to learn water safety and confidence in water. Local swim company Just Swim also uses the premises, enabling children from the local community to benefit from evening and weekend swim classes.
The HSA funded the Computer Suite refit, which included 30 new computers, subscriptions for new software and 30 new chairs. This nearly £20k investment now means all children at Campsbourne from Key Stage 1 and 2 have access to computers. This offers them the opportunity to learn ICT skills, internet safety and use coding programs.
The HSA funded new playground equipment for the infant and junior play areas, as well as new storage boxes to ensure this new equipment lasts longer against the outdoor elements and inclement weather.
